A great massage therapist helps you find the path of healing within yourself, while uncovering and polishing your innate, basic goodness.
Kristi Zink
Curator of the spa, and your grateful host.
Kristi graduated from massage school in 2004 and became a Swedish massage teacher in the US and then later in India. She has over twenty years experience as a massage therapist and spa manager. Her specialty is deep work that helps regulate the nervous system while also unclenching muscle fibers, and softening/releasing holding patterns. She has a variety of techniques and approaches in her tool belt which she uses to customize the massage and maximize effectiveness. A slow, detailed massage that helps you let it all go!
Each of our massage therapist is at the top of his or her field. We do a thorough intake to see what your goals and specific body aches and pains are, and then hand design the treatment with that information in mind.. Many of the guests say it was one of the best massage they have received.

Tammie Carter
Born and raised in a small town in West Texas, I was blessed to be taught a slower way of life and revel in the community that small towns and farm life can bring. I had always loved the mountains and chose to move to Colorado Springs in 2002. A lifetime of hospitality work created an ease with others and identifying what they felt. I went to the Massage Therapy Institute of Colorado in Denver, Co, in 2019. My modalities include Therapeutic, Swedish, Neuromuscular, Deep Tissue, and Intraoral. I am also passionate about metaphysical health and the slow food movement concept. I found my way back to the wonderful small-town vibe by moving to the Four Corners Area in 2021, and I am excited to now call Durango home. I look forward to getting to know the community.
