Jessica Tostado

Licensed Massage Therapist & Yoga Instructor

Jessica has been working as a licensed massage therapist since 2013. Following her

950-hour massage licensure training, Jessica traveled to Chiang Mai, Thailand to study

traditional Thai massage, obtaining certifications in foundational and advanced

traditional Thai massage. Additional training informing her massage practice and

wellness philosophy includes Reiki Level 1-2 certification; a 200-Hour Yoga teacher

certification course completed at the Rishikesh Yoga Teacher Training Center in

Rishikesh, India; and training in pre- and post-natal yoga at the Tri Natal Yoga School in

Salt Lake City, Utah.

In her massage sessions, Jessica combines Western and Eastern massage techniques

to design a customized massage specific to each client’s goals. Sessions can include

gentle effleurage massage for relaxation and stress reduction, stretching, deep tissue

techniques, acupressure and trigger point therapy, to improve the flow of energy, range

of motion and aide in pain management. Jessica specializes in Therapeutic Deep

Tissue massage, helping clients with acute or generalized aches and pains, impeded

joint mobility, repetitive strain injuries, sports injuries, and issues resulting from postural

problems or prolonged sitting or standing as well as preventive maintenance.

Each massage session is customized to meet the clients’ specific needs at the time of

service. Depending on the individual, multiple treatments per month, along with a

personalized self-care routine, stretches or yoga poses may be recommended. Less

frequent massage may be possible as the client wellness improves.

“Jessica is such a skilled, caring, and exceptional massage therapist. She knows exactly

how and where to use deep tissue massage to relieve the tension and tight muscles.

Jessica possesses the skills, knowledge, and professionalism in her field, as well as

providing a soothing atmosphere. I would recommend Jessica's services to anyone

looking to improve their health with massage.”
